From David and Susan Davies Johnny G fully lived up to the expression"once met, never forgotten". His great knack was cheering you up,often at difficult times. Sadly Susan and myself only got to know him in the last two years of his life. It was so much our loss. But we will never forget the kindness he showed to us from day one. Always fun, always well informed, always interesting,always ready for a chat and a gossip. Indeed a joy to know. Our mutual friends, Robert and Sarah Peacock,from Cardiff, we will always be grateful to.For themselves and their great kindness , but also for Johnny. In his last weeks,when he knew he wasn't well, he still managed to light up so many occasions aboard the Seabourn Odyssey in the Caribbean . Tragically on arriving home he went downhill at a desperately rapid pace. But in his passing, we just hope he knew how much pleasure he brought to us, and we suspect to many more . Johnny, for always, thank you.
